About Us: (I'm no good at paraphrasing)

You are probably less than shocked to find out that squirrels don't actually run the store. My name is Stacey & I am the brain (?) behind blueskyrocket.com.

I have been selling things online for 8 years (through a certain auction site, where I still maintain a 100% positive feedback rating so, you're in good hands here ;) ). After the birth of my second son, I decided I wanted to focus on selling things for the people I love most in the world - the little guys! The concept of this store has been locked up in my head for many years while I was busy doing the auction thing. It's now time to unlock the ideas I've been dreaming up and see what happens.

I could do none of this without my awesome family - my husband Brian couldn't be more wonderful, my sons are handsome and brilliant not to mention the greatest things to ever happen to me. My parents are still my role models for many reasons, but most important is because they raised me in a fun, loving and safe home.

As for the brands and products I carry ~ they range from homemade to mass produced. I do have a thing for the indie designers out there however - I'm forever 'window shopping' online looking for fun, original designs made by quirky, creative types. If you create an item (geared toward the baby/kid/parent demo) that makes people smile and/or laugh - then I'd love to see it. I find that a sense of humor is so important to have - especially if you're raising kids. My husband and I are truly polar opposites in many ways except that one. We both love to laugh and frequently go to ridiculous lengths to get laughs from each other and our kids. Many, many embarrassing moments were born from some of the more ambitious attempts, but we wouldn't have it any other way. As you can see from the pictures we also share failed attempts at looking cool in hats.

I hope to convey a sense of fun and individuality for the store with the squirrel heavy storyline. If for no other reason than to make you smile, I believe the story is important. However I hope that it serves even more of a purpose - by giving you a reason to stop by often, check in on the guys & see what new 'finds' their latest 'adventures' have produced.

I want my customers to feel safe and secure shopping with me. I have always put an emphasis on customer service. I have no problems bending over backwards to make you happy!
